Zelenkocidium Heiko Greffier is a hybrid in the genus Zelenkocidium
Zelenkocidium Heiko Greffier is Oncidium fuscatum (also known as Miltonia warscewiczii) crossed to Zelenkoa onusta (also known as Oncidium onustum). Plants were flowering approx. 2 years after dissemination. Interestingly, nearly all progeny has very similar flowers - white with some spots. Only 2 plants out of all plants raised produced flowers of yellow color. It grows well in intermediate as well as warm conditions, but once acclimatized to a condition, it is difficult to switch them.
Grow plants in intermediate to warm temperatures in partial shade, if possibly with high humidity. Water plant when mix drys, occasional drying out is tolerated. Plant will flower when the new bulbs have formed. After flowering, give plants a slight dryout between waterings for 2 - 4 weeks, and increase watering once the new growth starts. Water approximately once a week. Pot with medium fir bark.
