Warmingia abbreviated as Wrmga in horticultural trade, is a genus consisting of four species.


Plants are found growing in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Boliva and Brazil


Plants have pseudobulbs subtended by listichous leaf-like sheaths and carrying a single apical leaf


Plant prefers intermediate to warm temperature and is grown in diffused bright light. The plant is best mounted or grown in a well drain mix such as tree fern fibers. To water the plant spray the root system. Reduce watering in the winter.


The genus is named after Danish botanist Eugene Warming
