Plants bloom from winter to spring with four to five 4.5 cm wide flowers.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in Colombia and western Ecuador at elevations of 400 to 2400 meters
Culture[]
Grow plants in cool temperatures in partial shade. Water plant when mix drys. During the winter give plants a slight dryout between waterings. Water approximately once a week. Reduce watering during the winter season. Pot with medium fir bark.
