DistributionEdit

Plant is found in the forest of French Guiana, Guyana, Surinam, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina at elevations of 1200 to 3000 meters

DescriptionEdit

Plant blooms from fall to winter with up to sixty 1.8 cm wide flowers.

CultureEdit

Grow in moderate lighting. Plant grows in cool to warm temperatures and should be water regularly. Reduce watering during the winter. Keep potting media moist. Pot with a well drain mix such as fine to medium grade bark with perlite or in sphagnum moss.
