The plants are deciduous and have tuberous roots.
Culture[]
Plants require cool to intermediate temperatures and diffused bright light. Pot in a well drain terrestrial medium of gravel, sand, soil, perlite, and bark. Water the plant regular during spring and summer. Reduce watering in the winter as plants are dormant and begin watering regularly again as new shoots appear in the spring.
