Stanhopea reichenbachiana is a Stanhopea species endemic to Peru


Plant is found in the wet forest of Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of 500 to 1000 meters


Plants bloom from spring to summer with a single 6.9 cm wide flower. Flowers are fragrant.


Plant should be grown in shade. Keep in intermediate to warm temperatures and water regularly. Pot in medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Keep humidity high. Plants are usually grown in baskets.
