Stanhopea inodora is a Stanhopea species found in Central America.


Plant is found in montane forest of Mexico, Belize and Nicaragua at elevations of 800 to 1400 meters.


Plant blooms in spring and summer with up to ten 12 cm flowers per inflorescence. Flowers are fragrant.


Plant should be grown in shade. Keep in cool to warm temperatures and water regularly. Pot in medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Keep humidity high. Plants are usually grown in baskets.
