Stanhopea impressa is a Stanhopea species found in South America.
Stanhopea impressa are found in wet montane forest growing as an epiphyte or a terrestrial plant in Southern Colombia and western Ecuador at elevations ot 500 to 2000 meters.
Plant blooms in the spring with three to nine 10 cm fragrant flowers.
Plant should be grown in shade. Keep in cool to warm temperatures and water regularly. Pot in medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Keep humidity high. Plants are usually grown in baskets.
