Stanhopea anfracta is a species of the genus Stanhopea that is found in South America.
Stanhopea anfracta is found in eastern slopes of wet cloud forest growing on trees in Ecuador and Peru at elevations of 1000 to 2200 meters.
The plant blooms in spring to summer with seven to thirteen fragrant flowers per an inflorescence. Flowers are 8 cm across.
Plant should be grown in shade. Keep in cool to warm temperatures and water regularly. Pot in medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Keep humidity high. Plants are usually grown in baskets.
