Plants blooms from winter through late spring with a single 6 cm wide flower.
Distribution[]
Plant are found growing in the cool forest of El Salvador, Costa Rica to Ecuador at elevations of 1100 to 2400 meters
Culture[]
Grow in partial sun usually in cool to warm temperatures. Plants can be grown in sandy soil or bark with perlite. Keep the mix moist but not wet during growing season. Reduce watering after leaves develop. Never let the mix dry out for long periods
