Sarcoglottis grandiflora is a plant of the family Orchidaceae and the genus Sarcoglottis


Plants are found in the dry montane forest of Ecuador, Peru and Argentina at elevations of 280 to 1300 meters


Plant blooms from spring to fall with many 1.66 cm wide flowers.


Grow in moderate lighting. Plant grows in warm temperatures and should be water regularly. Keep potting media moist. Pot with fine to medium grade bark or soil.
