Rodriguezopsis is a genus consisting of two species.


Plants are found growing on trees in Southern Brazil.


Plants are closely allied to the genus Gomesa, but differ by having a more obvious rostellum and often recurved column.


Plant prefers cool to intermediate temperature and is grown in diffused bright light. The plant is best mounted or grown in a well drain mix such as tree fern fibers. To water the plant spray the root system. Reduce watering in the winter.


The genus is named after its flowers which looks the ones from the genus Rodriguezia
