Quisqueya is a genus of orchids, (family Orchidaceae), consisting of four species.

The plants endemic to the island of Hispaniola of the Greater Antilles.

DescriptionEdit

The genus was established in 1979 by Donald Dungan Dod.

CultureEdit

Grow in warm conditions with bright lighting. Plants should be mounted on treefern or cork and prefer dry outs between waterings. Provide high humidity and good air circulation.

NamingEdit

Its name is derived from the Taino name for Hispaniola.
