Prosthechea pamplonensis is an epiphytic orchid from the genus Prosthechea.


Plant flowers from summer to winter with several 3 cm wide flowers.


Plant is found growing in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and the Guianas at elevations of 2100 to 2700 meters


Plants grow in cool conditions and can be grown in medium size fir bark with perlite. Plant prefers drying periods between watering and bright light is recommended. Lengthen drying period a bit in the winter.
