Porroglossum teaguei is an epiphytic orchid in the genus Porroglossum.


A miniature plant with ighlty verucose leaves bearing a reticulated pattern when newly formed that fades at maturity. Plant blooms with several successive flowers. Often confused with P. amethystinum, P. teaguei can most easily be differentiated from said Porroglossum by having a longer tail on its dorsal sepal.


Found in Ecuador


Grow in cool to intermediate temperatures. Can be grown potted in sphagnum moss or mounted on wood. The medium it is grown in should be kept moist.
