Pogonia ophioglossoides is a terrestrial orchid from the genus Pogonia.
Description[]
The plant blooms from spring to summer with a single 7.5 cm wide flower.
Distribution[]
Plant is found in wet meadows and bogs in Eastern Canada south to Florida and west to Minnesota and Missouri, United States.
Culture[]
Plants must be grown in cool conditions with moderately bright light. Pot in a well drain mix such as sphagnum moss or perlite. Plant should be watered regularly with distilled water. Do not fertilize plant.
