Phalaenopsis viridis is an species in the genus Phalaenopsis.


Plant flowers in the spring with several 4 cm wide flowers.


Plants are found growing on trees and on boulders in Sumatra at elevations of 700 to 1000 meters


Grow in warm conditions. Pot in medium fir bark and keep in partial shade. Water about once a week. Keep plant fairly moist but not wet. With hold watering in the winter. Plant can be grown mounted
