Phalaenopsis lueddemanniana is an species in the genus Phalaenopsis.


Plant flowers in the spring to summer three to five flowers. Flowers are up to 6 cm wide and fragrant.

This species was introduced in to cultivation by Low in England.


Plants is found growing in the Philippines at elevations below 100 meters.


Grow cool to warm. Pot in medium fir bark and keep in partial shade. Water about once a week. Keep plant fairly moist but not wet.

Entomology:Reichenbach named the plant in honor of M. Lueddemann of Paris, who first flowered the plant in 1865.
