Phalaenopsis fimbriata is an species in the genus Phalaenopsis.


Plant blooms in the spring with many up to 4 cm wide flowers.

Phalaenopsis fimbriata was discovered by J.J. Smith in 1921 in Java, Indonesia.


Plants are found growing on limestone cliffs and mossy trees in Java, Sumatra and Sarawak at elevations of 790 to 1300 meters.


Grow in warm temperatures. Pot in medium fir bark and keep in partial shade. Water about once a week. Keep plant fairly moist but not wet.
