Plant blooms from winter to spring with a single 10.5 cm wide flower.
Distribution

Plants are found growing on the jungle floor in leaf litter in Mindoro, Philippines at elevations of 460 to 760 meters. The habitat is subjected to heavy rains in the winter, spring, and summer. Fall is humid and spring is the hottest season.
Culture

Plant should be grown in areas with moderately bright light and intermediate to warm temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite. Water regularly about every four to five days. To induce blooming reduce watering in the winter and keep temperatures low for three weeks. Plant prefers high humidity
