DescriptionEdit

The plant blooms from summer to fall with a single flower.

DistributionEdit

The plant is found growing in montane forest or open grassland of Sulawesi, Indonesia at elevations of 1000 to 1200 meters. The area is subjected to heavy rainfall from fall to spring and infrequent rainfall in the summer.

CultureEdit

Keep the plant in moderately bright light to partial shade. Plant should be grown in a intermediate to warm area. Pot in medium fir bark and perlite. Paphiopedilum sangii can tolerate salt buildup in its potting media. To induce blooming reduce watering in the winter.
