Paphiopedilum liemianum is a species of Paphiopedilum found in Asia.
Plant blooms in the spring with a single 8 cm wide flower which slowly develops.
Plants are found growing on mossy limestone cliffs in Gunong Sinabung, Sumatra, and Indonesia at elevations of 550 to 910 meters. The area is subjected to heavy rains in the winter and early spring and moderate amounts of rain in the fall and summer. Spring is the hottest season.
Plant should be grown in areas with moderately bright light and intermediate to warm temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite. Species can tolerate many different potting mediums. Water regularly about every four to five days. With hold water briefly during the fall to induce blooming.
