Paphiopedilum hookerae is a species of Paphiopedilum found in Asia.

Description[]

The plant blooms in the spring with a single 10 cm wide flower.

Distribution[]

The plant is found growing on sandstone hills covered in moss in Sarawak, East Malaysia and in Kalimantan, Borneo at elevations of 600 to 760 meters. The area is subjected to its heaviest rains during the fall and intense rain during the winter. Spring is the hottest season and summer is cool.

Culture[]

Keep the plant in moderately bright light to partial shade. Plant should be grown in a intermediate to warm area. Pot in medium fir bark and perlite.
