DescriptionEdit

Plant blooms from summer to fall with two to three 10 cm wide flowers.

DistributionEdit

Plants are found growing in mossy crevices and limestone cliffs of Irian Jaya Coast, Northwestern New Guinea, and Indonesia at elevations of 0 to 1700 meters. The area has small climate changes and usually has high humidity and medium amounts of rainfall

CultureEdit

Plant should be grown in areas with moderate to bright light and intermediate to warm temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite or sphagnum moss. Water regularly about every four to five days. To induce blooming give the plant a short rest in the winter. The plant is difficult to establish.
