DescriptionEdit

Plant blooms in the summer and winter with a single 8 cm wide flower.

DistributionEdit

Plants are found growing in mossy forest floor on tree trunks and granite boulders of Penang, Guanong Beor through Gunong Opbir, Malaysia at elevations of 480 to 1200 meters. The area is subjected to infrequent rains from winter to spring and heavy rain in the winter.

CultureEdit

Plant should be grown in areas with shade and cool to intermediate temperatures. Pot in a well drain mix such as medium fir bark and perlite. Water regularly about every four to five days. To induce blooming reduce watering in the spring and winter.
