Oncidium hyphaematicum is an epiphytic orchid from the genus Oncidium.


Plants blooms in the summer with three to five 3.1 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant.


Plants are found in the forest of Ecuador and Peru at elevations of 300 to 2000 meters


Grow in cool to warm conditions with moderate to bright light. Water the plant right before the potting mix starts to dry. Plants should be potted in a well drain medium such as medium fir bark.
