Miltoniopsis vexillaria is an epiphytic orchid from the genus Miltoniopsis.
Plant blooms in spring with four to nine 7.5 to 10 cm wide flowers.
Plant is found at the edge of wet montane forest in Colombia and N. Ecuador at elevations of 1000-2200 meters.
Plants are grown in moderate light with intermediate to warm temperatures. They require a humidity range of 50 to 90%. During hot summers water the plant daily. As winter approaches, keep the plant media moist but not damp. In the winter reduce watering but do not let the mix dryout. Pot the plant in a well drain mix such as fine fir bark with perlite.
