Description[]
Plant flowers from spring to summer with 3.9 to 5 cm fragrant flowers. Flowers have coconut scent.
Distribution[]
Plant is found on dense forest trees and on the lower forest floor in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Niacaragua and Costa Rica from 0 to 1500 meters.
Culture[]
Plant can be grown in a fine bark medium, full sphagnum moss, or mounted on treefern or cork. Grow in cool to warm conditions with medium amounts of light. Water regularly and keep mix moist but not wet. Plant require semi-dry rest through the winter month.
