Maxillaria notylioglossa is a species in the Maxillaria genus.
Plant blooms in the spring with a 1.5 to 2cm wide single flower.
Plant is found in wet montane forest of Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Venezuela at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters
Plant can be grown in a fine bark medium, full sphagnum moss, or mounted on treefern or cork. Grow in cool to intermediate conditions with medium amounts of light. Water regularly and keep mix moist but not wet. Plant require semi-dry rest through the winter month.
