Masdevallia flaveola is a species in the Masdevallia genus.


Plant blooms in the spring with a single successive 1 cm wide flower.


Plant is found growing in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations around 1000 to 1700 meters

It was collected at 1700 meters near some cow pastures in Costa Rica


Keep plant in partial shade. Plant can be grown in intermediate to warm conditions. Pot the plant in fine bark with perlite or sphagnum moss. Water regularly and keep potting media moist.
