Masdevallia don-quijote is an epiphytic orchid in the genus Masdevallia.


A medium sized Masdevallia with waxy leaves and long triquetrous peduncles that tend to flop over.


Found in Ecuador at elevations of 1000 to 1700 meters


Grow in intermediate temperatures potted in sphagnum moss or mounted on wood. The medium it is grown in should be kept moist.


Named for the fancied appearance of the flowers to the fictional horseman Don Quixote.
