Masdevallia agaster is a species in the Masdevallia genus.


Plant blooms from fall to winter with a single fragrant 2 cm flower.


Plant is found growing in mossy trees in the wet montane forest of Peru and Ecuador around elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters


Keep plant in partial shade. Plant can be grown in cool conditions. Pot the plant in fine bark with perlite or sphagnum moss. Water regularly and keep potting media moist.
