Plants are found growing in mossy in the humid coniferous forest of Vietnam and Hainan, southern Yunnan and Sichuan China at elevations of 595 to 2100 meters

Grow plants in cool to intermediate conditions. Plants grow in a media made of small bark, perlite, and sand. Keep medium moist but not wet.
