The genus is distributed from Madagascar to the Comoros, and the Mascarenes.


Flowers in this genus have narrow segments and a lanceolate lip


Grow in moderate light and with cool to intermediate temperatures. Grow in tree fern fibers or full sphagnum moss. Water regularly. Plant is best mounted on cork.


This genus is named after Henri Jumelle, a French botanist
