Trichopilia laxa is an epiphytic orchid from the genus Trichopilia.
Description[]
Plants bloom from fall to winter with four to seven 7 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru at elevations of 1200 to 1800 meters.
Culture[]
Grow plants in cool temperatures in partial shade. Water plant when mix drys. During the winter give plants a slight dryout between waterings. Water approximately once a week. Reduce watering during the winter season. Pot with medium fir bark.
