Stanhopea frymirei is found in the wet montane forest of west Ecuador at elevations of 25 to 500 meters.
Description[]
Plant flowers from summer to fall with five to nine 15cm fragrant flowers.
Culture[]
Plant should be grown in shade. Keep in warm temperatures and water regularly. Pot in medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Keep humidity high. Plants are usually grown in baskets.
