Description[]
Plant blooms in winter to spring and again from summer to fall with a single successive 10cm wide flower.
Distribution[]
Plant are found growing in the montane forest of Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of 100 to 1700 meters.
Culture[]
Grow in partial to full sun usually in cool to warm temperatures. Plants can be grown in sandy soil or bark with perlite. Keep the mix moist but not wet during growing season. Reduce watering after leaves develop. Never let the mix dry out for long periods
