Plants blooms in the spring and summer with a single fragrant 8 cm wide flower.

Plant are found growing in the tropical wet forest of Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Surianm, Guyana, French Guiana, Northern Brazil and Ecuador at elevations of 0 to 1500 meters
Culture[]
Grow in partial sun usually in intermediate to warm temperatures. Plants can be grown in sandy soil or bark with perlite. Keep the mix moist but not wet during growing season. Reduce watering after leaves develop. Never let the mix dry out for long periods
