Prosthechea panthera is an epiphytic orchid from the genus Prosthechea
Description[]
Plant bloom from winter to spring with up to fifteen 2.5 cm wide flowers. Flowers are fragrant.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in the oak forest of Oaxaca and Chiapas states of Mexico and in Guatemala at elevations of 1300 to 2100 meters
Culture[]
Plants grow in cool to warm conditions and can be grown in medium size fir bark with perlite. Plant prefers drying periods between watering and bright light is recommended. Lengthen drying period a bit in the winter.
