Miltoniopsis roezlii is an epiphytic orchid from the genus Miltoniopsis.
Description[]
Plant blooms from summer to fall with two to seven flowers. Flowers are 7 to 8 cm wide and fragrant.
Distribution[]
Plants are found in the wet forest of Colombia, Ecuador and Panama at elevations of 200 to 1000 meters.
Culture[]
Plants are grown in moderate light with intermediate to warm temperatures. They require a humidity range of 50 to 90%. During hot summers water the plant daily. As winter approaches, keep the plant media moist but not damp. In the winter reduce watering but do not let the mix dryout. Pot the plant in a well drain mix such as fine fir bark with perlite.
