Description[]
Plant blooms from summer to fall with a single flower. Flowers are 5cm wide and fragrant.
Distribution[]
Plant is found in trees or detritus in the wet montane forest of Ecuador and Peru at elevations around 1200 to 2500 meters.
Culture[]
Plant can be grown in a fine bark medium, full sphagnum moss, or mounted on treefern or cork. Grow in intermediate to warm conditions with medium amounts of light. Water regularly and keep mix moist but not wet. Plant require semi-dry rest through the winter month.
