Plant blooms in the summer with a single 8cm wide flower.
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing in the wet montane forest of Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil at elevations of 220 to 1800 meters
Culture[]
Plant can be grown in a fine bark medium, full sphagnum moss, or mounted on treefern or cork. Grow in warm conditions with medium amounts of light. Water regularly and keep mix moist but not wet. Plant require semi-dry rest through the winter month.
