Plant blooms in the spring with a single 11.25 cm flower.
Distribution[]
Plant is found in the forest of Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela at elevations of 800 to 1800 meters
Culture[]
Plant can be grown in a fine bark medium, full sphagnum moss, or mounted on treefern or cork. Grow in intermediate to warm conditions with medium amounts of light. Water regularly and keep mix moist but not wet. Plant require semi-dry rest through the winter month.
