Masdevallia paivaëana is a species in the Masdevallia genus.
Description[]
Plant has repent growth habit with very coarse roots. Small tubular flowers cream to pink suffused with yellow. Plant blooms in the summer with a single 1 cm wide flower.
Distribution[]
This species occurs in Peru and Bolivia from 2,500 to 3,000 meters.
Culture[]
Grow under cool temperatures and shade in sphagnum moss or mounted. Keep medium moist.
