Plant blooms from late spring to fall with up to twenty 4.2 cm wide flowers..

Distribution[]

The plants are found growing in Costa Rica, Panama, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, French Guyana, Guyana, Surinam, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay at elevations of 70 to 1500 meters

Culture[]

Plants grow in warm conditions with moderate lighting. Pot in fine bark or sphagnum moss. Water regularly during the summer, about once every two days and gradually reduce as winter approaches winter. Plants can be infrequently in the winter to keep the pseudobulbs from shriveling, but with hold watering until new shoots appear.
