Encyclia osmantha is a plant in the genus Encyclia.
Description[]
Plant blooms from fall to winter with up to thirty flowers. Flowers are 5 cm wide and fragrant.
Distribution[]
Plant is found growing in the rainforest of Minas Gerais, Goias, Rio De Janiero, Sao Paulo and Espiritu Santu states of Brazil at elevations of 400 to 1200 meters.
Culture[]
Plants grow in intermediate to warm conditions and can be grown in medium size fir bark with perlite. Plant prefers drying periods between watering and bright light is recommended. Lengthen drying period a bit in the winter.
