Dracula sodiroi is a terrestrial to epiphytic orchid in the genus Dracula.
Description[]
A medium sized plant with narrow leaves and an erect to horizontal peduncle bearing several 4 cm wide flowers. Subsp. sodiroi bears three flowers that bloom simultaneously. Subsp. erythrocodon typically bears three larger flowers that bloom in succession.
Distribution[]
Found in Ecuador at elevations of 1500 to 2400 meters
Culture[]
Grow in cool to intermediate temperatures. Can be grown in a basket with sphagnum moss. The medium it is grown in should be kept moist.
