Dracula chiroptera is an epiphytic orchid in the genus Dracula.
Description[]
Plant blooms in the summer with several 15 cm wide flowers. This plant is similar to Dracula wallisii and Dracula hirtzii but differs by having fairly short and a coarse crop of hairs, clearly marked spotting and a mobile lip.
Distribution[]
Plants are found in cloud forest of Ecuador at elevations of 1600 to 2000 meters
Culture[]
Keep plant in partial shade. Plant can be grown in cool conditions. Pot the plant in fine bark with perlite or sphagnum moss. Water regularly and keep potting media moist.
