Dendrobium cuthbertsonii is a cool growing species of Dendrobium endemic to Papua New Guinea.
Description[]
Plants bloom in the winter with a single flower. Flowers are 3 cm wide and come in colors of red, purple, yellow, orange, and white. Flowers can last up to nine months
Distribution[]
Plants are found growing on mossy trees and rock near streams in Northern Papua New Guinea at elevations of 750m to 3500 meters.
Culture[]
Keep plant in cool temperatures with diffused light. Plants are usually do good mounted or potted in sphagnum moss. Water frequently. A essential part of growing this plant is good air movement and clean water. Avoid fertilizing heavily.
