Cymbidium madidum is a species of Cymbidium from Australia.
Description[]
Plant flowers in winter with many 2.5 cm fragrant flowers. Flower color varies from olive green with brown stains on the back of the sepals to apple green and yellow green.[1] A pale yellow green variant with densely spaced flowers can be found in Cairns.[1]
The plant was collected by Messrs Rollinson and described in 1840 by Lindley.[1]

Plant is found on rainforest tree limbs on Platycerium species and growing on the forest floor from Queensland to N. New South Wales, Australia from 0 to 2000 meters.[1]

Plant should be grown in intermediate to warm areas with medium to bright light. Pot with bark and perlite. Plant prefers dry periods between watering. Reduce watering during the winter. Water about once a week.
